Our Client is a Calgary-based consumer electronics company in the surround sound audio and video gaming peripherals industry. Our Client is the company behind a revolutionary and award winning gaming headset system.

 

Our Client is expanding rapidly and needs several positions filled. We need hard-driving team players to join our executive and production teams.

Reporting to the President, you are responsible for the overall marketing program leadership. You will further develop the company’s brand and build a massive community of gamers. You will attract, enrol and retain tens of thousands of affluent gamers with your on-going campaigns and promotions. You will drive sales through our retail channel as well as directly through our ecommerce website.

You have direct experience in the consumer electronics Industry and ideally have worked in gaming, gaming audio or gaming peripherals.

 

Your work will have a global reach. Functions will include:

 

·           Marketing Communications - advertising, branding, design direction, media deployment tactics

·           Product Management - product/market fit, product requirements, portfolio management,

·           Business Development - customer development, partnership development, deal structuring

·           Market Research - competitive intelligence, market sizing, customer demographics

 

You are savvy with traditional, internet and social media marketing as well as the technologies for campaign performance tracking and optimization. You are also capable of gauging industry and consumer response and sentiment. You are experienced in developing an in-house marketing team as well as working with consultants and contractors.

 

You are an accomplished communicator and manager who is capable with design, business, internet authoring, social media, CRM, group collaboration and project management tools.

You are competent with investor relations and the grant development and administration process.   You are an avid gamer and understand the fine points of audio.
